Our final day of Sonforce Kids!

Our last day of Sonforce kids came much too soon!
What an awesome time we had!
Today's mission was to "LEAD" others to
God's promises. Our verse was Joshua 1:9
"Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified.
Do not be afraid. For the Lord your God will be
with you wherever you go."

The winner? The boys!!

Well, our offering contest came to an end and
who won?? You might think that the girls
won by looking at these pictures! The boys
won and we all got ready for Linda to get her
pie. Then Pastor Jeff explained that in the
same way Jesus took what we deserved when
he went to the cross to die for our sins, he
was going to take the pie for Linda. Although
he didn't deserve a pie, he humbly accepted
one. How thankful we are that Jesus paid the
price for our sins. Thank you, Lord!

Day Four of Sonforce Kids

The mission for this day was to FOLLOW in God's path.
We learned about the prophet Jeremiah and how he
continued to obey God even when it was hard and the
king wanted to arrest him. Our verse for today was

"Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you, that it may go well with you. Jeremiah 7:23

One of our younger girls had a great comment
about VBS. She told me, "We get God here."
Wow! Of course, we can experience the Lord
anywhere but, it really touched my heart that
such a sweet young girl would have that
impression of VBS!!

Our boy vs. girl competition for the heaviest
offering coming to exciting conclusion tomorrow.
Who will get a pie in the face?? Either way, we
are so thankful for the gifts the kids have been
bringing each night. I know the children of the
Ruimveldt Chidren's Home in Guyana will be
blessed by the money.

One more night to go and we'll be sad to see
Sonforce Kids VBS come to an end. In the
meantime, here are some photos from day four.

Day Three of Sonforce Kids

The weather turned sunny and beautiful for day three
of Sonforce Kids VBS. We enjoyed being outside for
games with no rain! We also enjoyed a wild and
awesome song called "Superhero". We had fun
declaring Jesus better than Spiderman, Batman,
Superman and anyone!! Here's a video of another
group singing this song. It's not exactly the same
as we did it but, t will give you an idea
about the kind of fun we had.

Today our mission was to "TRAIN"
to be special agents for God.
Our verse for the day was
"Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the
end you will be wise." Proverbs 19:20

Day Two of Sonforce Kids!

It was another awesome day at Sonforce

Kids VBS. We had a little rain but, it didn't keep
us from some great kickball! Our mission to was to
"UNITE" and we learned about how Esther saved her
people by uniting with them in prayer before going
before the king. Our verse for today was Romans 12:10
"Be devoted to one another in brotherly
love. Honor one another above yourselves."

We learned a great song called "Amazing Love"
